This training will give you:
- What mental health is and how to challenge stigma
- A basic knowledge of some common mental health issues
- An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing
- Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue


Everyone who completes the course will get:
- A certificate to say you are Mental Health Aware
- A MHFA England manual to refer to whenever you need it
- A workbook which includes a helpful toolkit to support your own mental health

Course Structure
Our MHFA England accredited Mental Health Awareness training involves completing 1 half-day session and taking part in a mixture of presentations, group discussions, case studies and workshop activities.
- Online courses – This includes completing 1 online session
- Face to face courses – This involves completing 1 half-day session

For the our MHFA Mental Health Awareness course, the maximum number of delegates is 25 face-to-face, and 25 online.
For our online Mental Health Aware training you must actively take part the session.
As part of the online training you must take part in the live session.
You get a 100-page MHFA manual and a workbook. Upon completion you will be given a certificate of attendance
Our Mental Health First Aid training is accredited by Mental Health First Aid England.
Contact us with your requirements (i.e. dates and location), we may be able to arrange something to suit your needs.
For the online training you will need a microphone in order to interact within the sessions. You do not need a camera; however, it is highly recommended in order to get the most from the course.
A device that has a good internet connection and a microphone. We also strongly recommend that you have a camera in order to get the most from the course. We recommend joining from a personal laptop to reduce the likelihood of IT departments blocking the live sessions.
Unfortunately, we are unable to edit the MFHA course syllabus. However, we do offer bespoke training courses which can be designed around your organisation’s needs. Please contact us to discuss bespoke training packages.
Our Mental Health Awareness courses are usually delivered using Zoom, we will send you a link to join the course after purchase. Private courses can be held on other platforms (e.g. Microsoft Teams) depending on your organisation’s requirements.
